Brian is a small business owner, volunteer, and dedicated member of the Poway community. He and his wife Kim are proud to raise their three children in Poway’s Lower Windmill neighborhood.
A Lifelong San Diegan
Born in San Diego, Brian's mom was a cashier at Vons and his dad worked in the factory at General Dynamics. He put himself through college by working two jobs, including night crew at a grocery store, graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in Political Science and History. During college at San Diego State he began his career in public service, volunteering for a member of the California legislature representing San Diego County.
Dedicated to Poway
Brian is a committed volunteer in the community he loves. He’s worked to ensure our city’s budget is balanced effectively and responsibly as Chairman of the Citizens' Budget Review Committee. He’s also worked to a support a strong economy for local families and businesses as the Chairman of the Poway Chamber of Commerce.
A History of Leadership
Brian has spent his career serving San Diego in senior leadership roles, advocating for lower taxes, government efficiency, and a return to common sense from our elected officials. He is also a business owner, founding a successful business working with those who want to make a bigger impact on their communities through public advocacy.
Involved in the Community
Brian enjoys Poway’s open space trails and is a founding member of the Poway Bicycle Coalition, advocating for bike trails, bicycle parks for Poway kids, and safe cycling infrastructure. His children are regular users of Poway’s parks, playgrounds, and library. Additionally, Brian is a member of the Poway Kiwanis Club and the Poway Elks Lodge.
